Medication-easy to make a mistake as the list grows and the patient becomes more tired

After 7 years with active cancer the list of my medication continues to grow. In spite of the large number of medicine that I had to take every day I seldom made a mistake. However, lately I have made a few rather serious mistakes. I am tired and I

lack focus.

One of my latest mistakes – I have completely forgotten to take my thyroxin, medication that I have been taking for the last 15 years. I do not know for how long I

have been without my thyroxin. It could easily be a week.

Thanks to yesterday’s episode on Dr. Oz, listing the symptoms caused by low levels of the thyroid hormone, such as depression, constipation, low energy levels, etc. I remembered

that I have forgotten to include my thyroxin in my morning mix of medication.

Thanks, Dr.
Oz!
